Our SuperTrack weekend was a success! The weather cooperated fully to allow us to get in all three of our races on Saturday and Sunday, making this weekend the only SuperTrack weekend of the year!

Our Saturday Ignite races also counted as round 3 of 5 for the Ignite Challenge. The next round of the Ignite Challenge will take place September 30 at TNT in Quincy, IL.

We had a great turnout both at our Ignite Saturday night race and our SuperComp double feature on Sunday! Many of our racers pulled triple duty, running in all three races this weekend.

 

Among those running a full schedule were our Kid Kart drivers. Race Beckman brought home two wins and one second place this weekend in our Kid Kart class with Lane Mayer brining home one win and two second place finishes.

Spike Kohlbecker was one of our regulars who competed both days, in the Ignite Junior and Briggs Junior Classes. Between the two days he brought home two wins, one on each day!

Hunter Richardson took home the other Briggs Junior win on Sunday, as well as a third place finish in Briggs Junior Race Two and in Ignite Junior on Saturday, earning himself three podiums over the weekend.

Ken Williams also took home two wins over the weekend, one on Saturday in the Ignite Masters class and one on Sunday in the Briggs Senior class.

Evan Zarbo took both wins on Sunday in the Briggs Rookie class, with Carter Pryor taking second in both races. Carter also won the Ignite Rookie final on Saturday earning three podiums for the weekend.

Nick Todtenhaupt was another with three podium appearances, finishing second in Ignite Senior on Saturday and earning a second and third place finish in Briggs Senior Sunday.

Our next races will take place on the BACKWARDS configuration of the Kartplex!

The Ignite Series backwards race will be a double feature on Saturday October 7.

The SuperComp Series backwards race will be a double feature on Sunday October 8.
