Spike Kohlbecker came back into Ignite competition this weekend in preparation for his Rock Island debut. He was back from where he left off, the top of the podium. Spike won both heats and the feature flag to flag with points leader, Evan Stamer and Davis Worley finishing second and third.

In Ignite Senior there was a furious four-way battle for the lead in the closing laps of the feature. Colten Dudici had the lead for the majority of the race until Ryan Bettenhausen made a daring outside pass at the end of the back straightaway to take the lead. Eric Loddeke and Andre Stunson followed Ryan through the hole. Bettenhausen was able to hold on for the win and Dudici was able to battle his way back to third to round off the podium.

In Ignite Masters, Blaine Finnegan sought redemption from losing the lead late in the race in round 6. In the feature, Finnegan was able to get around Jon Vernier on lap 4 and take the top spot. When it was all said and done, Finnegan grabbed the win by 2.7 seconds.

In Ignite Rookie, Reid Sweeny and Dane Sensel battled hard for the lead throughout the feature. Dane held the top spot until lap 13 when Reid was able to make the move and take the win by 0.1 seconds!

Austin Todtenhaupt was able to win all 3 races of the night including the feature by 12 seconds in Kid Kart Honda
