14 Jul Battle at the Brickyard Race Recap & 1st Ever Backwards Event

Last week was the inaugural Battle at the Brickyard Go Kart race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Kartplex is proud of all of our competitors that raced there. In the Ignite class which was born and bred as a joint effort between Margay Racing and the Kartplex in 2014 had the largest field with 46 participants. 8 of the top 10 finishers in the Ignite Class are Kartplex regulars. The Kartplex was also represented well with several podium finishes in many other classes. We are happy to be a part of the development of many new racers in the area. This week the Kartplex ran the very first ever Backwards event. Our IDrive league is the beginning of the kart racing ladder and runs on Wednesday nights Spring and Fall. IDrive racers finished off the Spring Series in the clockwise direction. “A whole new race track” was quoted by series Champion Bobby Krug. Kartplex GM Keith Scharf was quoted as saying “We believe the clockwise round was very well received and will now be included as a round in all future IDrive series.” Anyone can join. ┬áIf your ready for some racing action the Fall IDrive league starts on August 2.

This Friday July 14 is our monthly Party at the Plex. Arrive & Drive for only $20 from 6pm-10pm. Stop by acheter du cialis en ligne on your way to Midnight Madness for some fast laps on our purpose built 1/2 mile kart track.

Next Saturday night July 22 under the lights and Sunday July 23 marks the return of our Ignite and SuperComp to the SuperTrack. The SuperTrack is a combination of the 1/2 Kartplex track and turns 1 and 2 of the Gateway Circuit of St Louis road course. Spectators are always free. Come out and watch the best kart racing action in the Midwest.
